I've had lifeline occasional problems in that area due to some scar tissue plus frequent constipation. Balneol is rather pricey for this type of product but it is EXCELLENT as a soothing emollient for all kinds of pruritic/anal problems that millions have. I recommend it to relieve pain, intolerable itching, etc. It works very well.
