I own a Mercedes SL550 and it has long doors. This device is exactly what I was looking for since now both passenger and driver do not have to worry about damaging car door or wall. Measure carefully (and use a level) because once it's applied, it won’t come off without damaging wall. Well-made, in Germany! Took about 10 days since it was shipped directly from Europe. I’m thinking about painting both so it would blend better with the wall but I’m afraid the paint will just absorb since it’s a spongy material. A bit pricey but, in my opinion, worth it!

Exactly what we needed. Removed backing and stuck to wall. Has been there ever since. Protects my door and didn't require any drilling or installation work. I don't think this will leave a residue once I remove it. The sticky back didn't look too tacky but has surprisingly stayed on. Even with kids opening doors and hitting this repeatedly.

This door protector was appealing to me because it wasn't screwed in (it is lined with a strong adhesive) like other products. It also was a soft foam construction rather than a rubber or heavy duty plastic.
I was worried the adhesive back might not be strong, but is is a large surface area and a very tacky surface. So it's very secure.
The product works like a charm. Granted, I would not be inclined to throw my door at it; but it certainly protects as advertised with a casual contact with the car door.
Do note that this product comes directly from Germany, so the price of the item is pretty low compared to competitors, but shipping will make it a bit more costly.

You know what I like most about this product? Besides the fact that it's soft and will actually stop a door without itself doing damage to the door like the hard ones can? I like how it sticks to whatever you stick it to. I stuck it to a very rough concrete block that I have never been able to get things to stick to, and from the moment I put it on, it was obvious that it was NEVER going to come off without some brute force. Perfect. they're small, though. You may need two of them.
