Product Description

These heel pain wedges are designed to reduce pressure on one’s muscles tendons and joints, making them well suited for easing lateral or medial heel pain, whether it stems from heel spurs, heel bursitis, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis or simply a long day on one’s feet. The pair of inserts have a raised portion that is ¼” tall on one side for lateral or medial unloading. One can simply flip the insert so that the raised area is at the medial part of the heel for medial unloading or lateral rea for lateral unloading. The insoles have self-adhesive backing so they will stay in place while allowing for repositioning if necessary. The wedges are made of a soft, silicone-like material that is comfort against one’s foot. It may be used in conjunction with other insoles or placed directly in the shoe. These latex-free inserts fit easily within one’s shoes, including both athletic and dress shoes. The medial and lateral shoe inserts can be used to treat a number of conditions such as plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, stress fractures, pinched nerves, heel spurs, heel pad syndrome, heel bursitis, valgus and varum knee deformities, knee osteoarthritis, and other heel, foot, ankle, knee, and hip disorders. When worn laterally (with the raised portion towards the outside of your legs), they counteract varus knee deformity (bow-leggedness) and can help reduce or prevent medial knee osteoarthritis and medial knee pain. When they are worn as medial heel cushions (with the raised portion towards the inside of your legs), they counteract valgus alignment (knock-knees) and can reduce the effects of bilateral knee osteoarthritis and lateral knee pain. These silicone heel inserts are available in a universal size that will fit most adults. Both men and women, with sizes 5+, can wear them.

Even works in sandals
This is the second time I've purchased these lateral supports. I hurt my right ankle about 18 years ago, causing only my right foot to curve in. I have tried different shoes, inserts, and arch supports. They will help but not fully. I found these lateral inserts have helped even more as it controls the foot from the ankle. I can get better control in shoes but needed more help in sandals. This has been a perfect solution. I did cut around the top plastic covering and left that on so the sticky part was not on my foot. Because I only need it on one foot I can then use them in two different pairs. This is worked well for me!
