The product is great as of yet. I just received my new iPod and it is in great shape for a refurbished item. My issue is with the gnarly ear buds that came with it. As you can see, there is residual ear wax left in both buds. For the price I did not expect to get this 'extra'.

The iPod arrived sooner than indicated, so that was nice. It came, however, with a cord that in no way fit the iPod. I thought perhaps there was some sort of sheath protecting the lightning cable connection, but no. Fortunately, I already had a proper lightning cord from another Apple product, so I was able to charge the iPod (it arrived with a nearly empty battery, which, I guess, is standard practice these days), and eventually, to sync it to the tunes I had waiting.

I don't know what this other cord is for. Into the drawer of mystery cords it goes.

I bought this ipod for a big trip. When I received it I saw that close to the headphone jack was a mark, but since this is a refurbished one it didn't bother me that much. As I was on a long plane flight I plugged in my head phones, if I didn't move the ipod it was fine, but just a small move brought me scrambled sound. After that it got worse every day until the headphone jack didn't work at all anymore. So basically I can't use the ipod anymore. And of course it is more than 30 days after my purchase, so i can't return it. I have had my old ipod for many, many years and never had issues until recently, so getting this "refurbished" one was a huge disappointment and wast of my money.
