Just ask my hair-lady; I am ROUGH on my hair. I have a (probably unhealthy) love hate relationship with my hair and express the joys and frustrations of my personal life through my hair. I've died it every color, grown it long, cut it short, and repeated the entire process 100 times over. That said, if you're going to damage your hair the way I do, you MUST USE THIS PRODUCT. After shampooing, then conditioning with a rinse-out conditioner (Joico Color Gaurd, I think), I towel dry my hair and rub this product in. I don't rinse it out. You heard me right. I style my hair with this product still in it. Yes, I'm a rule-breaker.

I also use this product every other day, because that's how often I wash my hair. Again, I've broken the rules. BUT, my hair is soft, smooth and lookin' good despite all the damage I've done to it (I want to be blonde...one month later...I want black hair....one month later....I miss being blonde....). My hair is naturally curly, so I have the added frizz factor, and this stuff helps tame the mane!

Buy it. It's good stuff. My hair is just above my shoulders and I don't use an entire squirt. (Just to help you save a bit o' product.) My hair drinks this up. When I DON'T use this product, it shows. My hair rebels and says, "feed meeeeee."

If you need a new addiction, this product would be a good choice.

Works well as a deep conditioner. Tabatha Coffey recommended it on the Dr. Oz show, and I love me some Tabatha so I gave it a try for my dry frizzy hair. When I first used it I was disappointed because it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I don't know whether I just needed to use it a few times or what, but now whenever I use it my hair is really soft, shiny, and is less frizzy (which is saying something, since I have super stubborn frizz that doesn't seem to have a reaction to a lot of products). Basically a really good hair day (or days I guess depending on your hair washing regimen). After the first time I have left it on in the shower probably longer than 5 minutes, so I think the longer you can leave it on the better the results. The only thing is, it does seem to be most effective when you first use it, I don't know that the results really last through another wash, definitely not through a couple, because my hair is back to misbehaving by then. While it is a bit pricey for using as a conditioner every time, I am still going to try that (there are some conditioners much more expensive that I have tried for my frizzy hair that didn't work near as well, so it is worth it to me) and see if I get these great results each time.

I LOVE this stuff! Joico K-pak products are seriously the only reason my *heavily* processed hair is still on my head. I'm a hairstylist who loves to change up my color. I usually use the Reconstruct line, but ordered this Revitaluxe accidentally (late night wine + Amazon= oops!). I was disappointed that it wasn't what I normally use, but decided to give it a try anyway and I'm glad I did. It's very thick and rich and the results are just as good if not better than the Reconstruct deep treatment. It leaves my hair soooo soft and shiney. I've also noticed that if I decide to blowdry and flat iron my (very curly) hair, I don't get dry/ crispy ends that can happen with over-processed hair. It's soft and smooth from root to tip. I think this may have replaced the Reconstruct deep treatment as my #1 favorite conditioner! The vendor was fast, the item arrived on time and the product is definitely genuine so no complaints there either. Accidentally ordering the wrong product just might be the smartest thing tipsy me has ever done. I definitely recommend!! (the conditioner, not the tipsy amazon shopping lol)

It makes your hair feel so amazing and it smells wonderful! There is nothing special that you have to do with this product which is great for me since I don't want to add anything time consuming to my shower time. You will love this product! I have 4c hair that's very long and colored and I CAN NOT LEAVE WITHOUT THIS STUFF. My hair used to love moisture to detangle now it loves protein to detangle with. For about 9 months out of the year I wear my hair natural. Just blow dried and then with lots of moisturizers for a 2 strand twist. When I wash my hair and apply the protein it really helps to detangle my hair which is challenging because my hair is waist length but much thinner than it used to be. I apply this to my hair once a month and it keeps its from breaking a lot. I keep it on for about 45 minutes with a cap then rinse and apply Joico moisture recovery. They are the dynamic duo!!!!

If you are a user of the old formula and loved it, do not purchase this. I've used the new formula twice and it left my hair feeling and looking like straw. Sometimes I wonder if these products even get tested on real humans. My bottle is going into the trash and I will not purchase anymore Joico products because of the new formulas. The scent is horrible too - like a man's cologne- and it doesn't have that light fresh floral clean scent.
