This is a really great cat tree, with a few technical issues. However, my cats love it anyways play on it all day long. The technical issues is that a couple of posts under the lower perch and the cat tube were hard to screw in. The tubular perch on the mid-right , underneath the two main top perches, and the the side of the condo-style hide-outs, is supported by five separate pieces. Each time you screw something in, it unscrews from the other part it was attached to. For the price, I feel like this should have been better designed. It easily could be all one piece in this section,to avoid this mess. Other then that, the structure is extremely study and durable. The faux fur covering is a nice upgrade from the typical gross carpet that most cat trees use. It looks nice in my room and is cozy for the kitties because of the softness. The sisal scratchers work very well and the kitties have almost entirely abandoned their old cardboard scratchers. They absolutely love it, and despite the issues, it is sturdy enough to withstand rough play. I may try adding some gorilla glue or E-6000 industrial glue in the joints that are unstable, for my own piece of mind, as it worries me when they shake. But my cats have jumped off higher things than this and so far they have been just fine, and I have had this for a couple months now. So I am not too worried. Overall, it is a very attractive and functional sat tree that my cats enjoy. I chose this after searching all over amazon and many other sites, because I am short on space, and for the footprint as well as the price, this packs the most bang per buck by cramming in something fun to every nook and cranny, with no wasted gaps of space. And in person it was exactly as it is in the picture. It did not disappoint, and I expect the kitties and I will enjoy this for many years to come.

This Trixie cat tree started showing signs of wear within a couple of months after purchasing it. We've had it 10 months now and today the hammock broke while our cat was resting in it! He fell to the floor with the hammock! We bought a Frisco cat tree several months before this Trixie cat tree and it still is in great shape and is holding up a whole lot better than this junk.

Our kitty was still a kitten and didn't ever go in either of those aspects which is why I liked this model so much....bummer. It is not carpet, it is a soft sort of furry fabric. He loved the toy hanging from the top but that was about it. My infant started trying to climb on it and was more interested in it than the cat so we sold it to a friend, his cats seem to love it. I paid $80 and was satisfied for the price, just wish my cat enjoyed it more, I guess it was just his personality that he would rather hang out on the dog bed than the cat tree.

Very easy to put together. We had no problem using the supplied directions. It's the perfect size for smaller spaces and is very sturdy. The top round is probably too small for a full size cat to sleep on, but mine loves to sit up there and can easily sleep on all the other levels. He's about 7-8 lbs.

UPDATE: My cat (only 8 lbs, at most) loves to sleep on the top level. I didn't think he would fit comfortably, but he does just fine.

Item has gone up in price $30 since we ordered it and it is still a good buy! Came all together in two boxes. Weighs 99 pounds but I (64 y.o.) woman was able to pull from front porch into house. Cannot be hidden from view when delivered so keep that in mind depending on your neighborhood.

Would not have bought it for $329 as unable to be sure of quality for such high price. Amazon prime assures us a a return on such an item so it'w worth the risk.

Base is very steady....was worried about that as it has much on top. Our older lower cat playground almost tipped many times with just a 10 lb. cat jumping on it. One of our cats started clawing the sisal post as it was being put together. The smaller cat will take time to warm up to it. She had the old one for 6 years.

I have never seen one of this quality in any pet store....even for a higher price than we paid....$ 161.00. All were unstable but this base is large and the playground well balanced. We have two cats but this could probably accommodate up to 5 cats in a household.

I also like that all the posts have sisal covering which holds up much better than carpet covered posts.

Directions are not good and incomplete but my husband was able to put together in about an hour by looking at photo. Without
amazon prime this item would not have been purchased due to cost and weight.

arbre à chat conforme à la photo, assez facile à monter grâce à la notice simple à comprendre. Sauf pour les parties qui tiennent le mini tunnel à trous, il y a un sens pour les assembler. Les dimensions sont exacts au descriptif. Dans l'ensemble il à l'air assez solide, on verra après dans le temps. les plateformes sont assez large ( important si l'on a un chat assez grand), ainsi que les niches. Les poteaux sont bien fixés, ne bougent pas. L'échelle et le tobogan en sisal sont génial pour les chats sportifs. Je recommande ce produit pour tous les types de chats.
Je ne met que 4 étoiles car il manquait la plateforme du haut qui relie la niche au poteau, cela empêche un peu de fixer correctement la petite plateforme du côté, mais ce n'est pas indispensable si l'on est un peu bricoleur.

It was trial and error when ordering this cat tree but most thankfully amazon.ca has amazing customer service representatives that were always very polite and quick to find a solution. It took 3 shipments before I received the complete order, the first time I only recieved box 1/2, same with the 2nd shipment (that box was a little worse for wear)... after having the item removed from the website to fix the inventory issue I recieved a 3rd shipment but this time I was a very happy recipient of box 2/2. I'm glad I held on to both of the previous shipments (thanks to the reviewer before me). But all in all after a short 2 weeks and a very helpful representative named Heather we recieved the cat tree and put it all together... once again listen to the previous gentlemen assemble the it entirely top down (you can not skip steps... it doesn't work like that). All 3 of my cats love it and enjoy playing on it or taking a nap on any of the many perches. I am a very happy and satisfied customer and I would rate it STABILITY 9/10 PRICE POINT 8/10 APPEARANCE/UNIQUENESS 10/10
