Why Do Original Radiator Fan Assemblies Fail?
Radiator cooling fans fail for a number of reasons, all stemming from the heat and stress they endure while trying to cool an engine. Bearings can melt from high temperatures, fan blades can break, sensors can fail, and mechanical pieces can stop working over time.
When radiator fans don't work correctly, the radiator can't serve its purpose to keep the engine cool. When an engine overheats, it can cause a number of problems, and make the vehicle inoperable altogether. That's why replacing a broken radiator fan should be an immediate priority.

These fans were used for my 2001 extreme blazer with a 5.7 L Vortec v8! The demand that I call for is extremely high when it comes to CFM ‘SThese fans deliver they don’t even cake on high-speed they work great on low I live in Arizona that would be the best test for these fans.

Fits perfect in my '02 ZR2 with just cutting the lower mounting tabs off. No more fan clutches to go bad.
Use the Hayden two speed dual fan controller and you're good to go.
