I bought this as a gift for my partner and the box arrived in a soft bag, which led to the box being damaged. The contents look to be undamaged, thankfully.
Having seen Porco Rosso I couldn’t resist the model of his plane. The model goes together without a hitch and looks great. Add Vallejo’s Ferrari red and it is perfect.

Some of the parts are extremely small, so this is for moderate to advanced model builders.
I would have given it five stars, except that many of the included decals are too large to fit the model well-- I would recommend painting it rather than using the decals if possible.
A nicely done model kit. I was hoping the model would be more of a model of the actual Savoia S.21, but alas, it is a straight from the Anime "Porco Rosso" (Crimson Pig) animated story. A well done and semi historical video presentation. The Fine Molds people did a quality job on this kit...I sure wish they had included the parts to allow the actual aircraft this "cartoon version" to be constructed too. It's can't even be scratched up from what's given. Still, a pretty good model. But the maker and sellers ought to be more forthright in description of the kit.

A nicely molded kit, as expected the instructions are not in English, the assembly diagrams seem complete and explicit enough. Comes with two Porco Rosso figures... one to be seated in the plane, one standing. A nice kit to build with a kid enamored with the animated movie.
