The shoe actually runs 'larger' than expected (judging by my own short, fat, wide foot). I originally bought size 6 (my regular shoe size). That size was a little long for me so I got a size 5. That size was still a little long for me so I got a kids size 4; that size works for me.

All that said, if I buy a sandal, I can get a size 5 or 5.5 W or WW (if available) and it's a great fit. For regular closed shoes (dress or sport), I have to get a 6W or 6.5W because I have a wide foot with a high instep.

The shoes, regardless of length, have been a God-send. I have neuroma in both feet (tingling, shooting pains, etc) which have been minimized with this shoe. I wear the one with the 'spikes', not the smooth foot bed.

I love this shoe and highly recommend them for relieving foot pain. BTW, I often use short socks with this shoe.

I'm a size 8 women's shoe and bought these in a Big Kid's size 6. The length is great, however I have wide feet and need the velcro done as loose as it can go in order to fit my feet into these while wearing my rugby socks. With socks, I can wear these all day, but as I remember from owning multiple pairs of these in the past, it will take a few days of wearing these in order to be comfortable in them in bare feet all day. As it is now, having had them for about a day, I can wear them for a couple of hours without socks and be alright, but any longer than that and it can be quite uncomfortable. However, after you get used to these they feel great and wearing any other slides just doesn't cut it.

I have always loved the quality on these slides, and this pair seems no different from the others that I've owned, so I expect that they will last just as long as the others have. I usually wear them to and from practices/games and around the house when I feel like I need shoes on and they've always been great, long-lasting shoes for that. The pair I had in high school I wore a couple days a week for about three years, and the pair I had in college lasted me all throughout undergrad and I wore them almost daily. One thing to keep in mind is that these are slides, so they're slightly flat. As far as slides go, I've found them to be fine in the way of arch support, but ff you're looking for a sandal with a lot of arch support this probably isn't the sandal for you.

My son loves these and says they are super comfortable. He has a very narrow foot so I am glad there is an adjustable strap over the foot, but even with that they are a little too big. He wears them with sock to go to hockey so that helps with the fit. It's when he doesn't wear sock they are too lose and his foot slides forward a little too much, but he still loves them! Most kids would be able to adjust the strap and they would fit just right!

Got these for my ten year old son last minute - he grew again before a vacation. He insisted he could not wear them, that they hurt too much. I figured he was wimpy, so I traded him for my reef sandals of roughly the same size. Figured I could wear his. We’re about the same size now.

I only wore them for a few minutes several hours ago, but my feet are still on fire. They are burning from front to back. So much pain!

I don’t know how anyone can stand to walk on these spikes of pain. I have a couple more days of vacation to get through. I guess I’ll be barefoot. But I’m still hobbling everywhere with the soles of my feet on FIRE. Right now, I can’t walk far at all.

These sandals are pure hell. I really don’t understand how they are so well liked. No one in my family can wear them for more than a minute.
