 At first glance, the material appeared to not be water proof. I definitely questioned it and decided to take one of them for a test run. I let water run on it and I was confused on whether I was putting the cape under the faucet all the way. So I leaned in closer to make sure it was touching the water and it was. Once I saw that, I pushed a bigger piece under and realized the water was gliding off as if it was never there! No traces was being left behind. The technology in these capes are amazing.
