I use them while embossing
When heat embossing the heat tool air is quite hot. I use these tweezers to hold the paper that I am embossing while I hold it under the heat tool to protect my fingers from getting burned. They work well and I would definitely purchase them again.

This product is ideal for picking up glue-y project parts and putting them down accurately the first time without getting glue on fingers or the rest of the project. It is also excellent for making bows on packages or cards or ? Because the reverse grip allows you to "pinch" and hold the initial know while you make the bow with two hands, it is a must-have in any craft room. I own several because they never seem to be where they're supposed to be.

Pretty good quality tweezers.

The build quality seems nice, and it seems pretty resistant to any type of rusting unlike many steel tweezers.
The rubber grips are great, really helpful to get a good grip for a precision tweeze session.

It is worth noting, this is actually the type of tweezers that when you squeeze it OPENS the tweezers, instead of the more common method of squeezing to clasp the tweezing end. Due to this, some applications may require a stronger clasping force than this product provides.

That being said, these are a great convenience for most any cosmetic job.

I didn't realize that these tweezers operated differently than my other sets of tweezers, so when they first came I set them aside figuring I probably wouldn't really ever use them. For others who might not understand, you squeeze these tweezers to open them and release to close them, just the opposite of what I was used to. Then one day I was working on some putting UV resin on some origami paper earrings and needed some type of clamp to hold the paper in the cone shape while I applied the resin. These tweezers were the perfect tool for that. They also held the earring in it's cone shape while I placed it in my lamp to cure. Now I don't think I would want to be without them, they are an excellent addition to my tool set.

So easy to use and a comfortable grip. Should have bought one a long time ago!!

I really wanted a pair of of self closing tweezers with a soft grip. These fit the bill for that aspect. The problem is that I wanted to use them for QUILLING, but they don't work well for that. The tweezers meets at the bend when closed which forces a space at the tip. They cannot pick up a small piece of paper or even card stock and give me a sure grip, thus rendering them useless for my crafting purpose. However, they are very pretty and arrived in a timely manner.
