These filters are about 1 inch longer (in diameter) than my HWF62 filter, but I managed to fit it into a Holmes Cool Mist Humidifier HM2408. But even brand new, soaking wet, and on the "hi" setting, the humidistat on the top of the unit cannot get beyond the "change filter" zone. The tank takes longer to empty of water, and overall room humidity seems to be less improved, than when using a genuine HWF62 filter.
