The rear facing seat features a layer of side impact protection and the patented SafeCell Impact Protection System includes a steel frame and energy absorbing base. The removable infant head pad cushions your infant while providing additional support. Easy installation using SafeCenter LATCH and built in lock offs makes it simple to secure the infant car seat base. The B Safe 35 car seat is FAA approved without the base. Thanks to the Click & Go System, you can securely attach the infant car seat to any Britax or BOB stroller to make a brilliant travel system that is perfect for your on the go lifestyle. The B Safe 35 Infant Car Seat can be used rear facing 4 35 pounds, child height 32” or less. Infant Car Seat dimensions 17.75” W x 25” H x 26.5” D, seat area 13” D x 8.75” W, shoulder width 10”, harness slot heights 5” to 11”.

Takeaway: It's narrower than the B Safe I ordered in 2014 for my older kid. But it's easier to click in and out of the base and the stroller. I am using the same travel system (stroller + car seat) I did for my older child and needed an extra car seat for a second car that would be compatible with the older stroller. It's narrower and the baby is way more snug in this one (he is 8 months old and growing fast). But he doesn't mind. It is harder to fish out the straps from under him because the seat is so snug around him, but I don't mind that. I find this seat easier to click in and out of both the base and the stroller and that really helps with the convenience quotient. All in all, I'm quite satisfied.

Haha, we got this for our new baby and our 14 month old climbs into it, he loves it so much that I will wrap him in a blanket and put him in and rock him a little with my foot while I'm cooking and he just passes right out. I can put him in this seat and he will hold his own bottle and be so happy. This seat does not tip over like other seats because it's so deep. I can see how this seat would protect our babies in a accident. I am very pleased with this seat. This is for our newborn but our 14 month old fits it great and with room to grow, he is 81% for his height and he is 20% for weight, so I don't know how heavier babies fit but the 14 month old fits with room on the sides. I joked about getting another seat just for our 14 month old but he already has a convertible britax that we just got him a few months ago. If you get this, you will like it and the base never sticks. Our newborn does not cry in it either. It's perfect! The color matches our Thule jogger perfectly! We got the red. Base did look like it had scratches but it was because it was kinda loose in the box but it works great.

We love this carseat. Our daughter was 7 pounds 1 ounce when she was born, we needed the padding inserts to make it truely fit her since she was tiny. But with the inserts it fit great, and now shes 10 pounds 7 ounces and no longer needs the addition of the inserts.
This carseat was easy to install, I love the way it clicks in and out when I need to remove it. Its a little heavy but that's normal for carseats, its not too heavy I can easily walk around carrying it if I want to. The straps are easy to adjust as she grows, and the canopy provides plenty of shade when we need it.
