    verdict after a week of use: does the job as advertised, cleans well. underwhelmed by noise levels, not any quieter than a 12 year old LG, adding actual side panels to the unit would help, overall disappointing for the 800 series. also essential parts for installation were not included in the shipment, figure another $50+ spending at the hardware store, irritating.

    When I installed my new kitchen I got what I thought would be a great machine. I spent way too much money for this dishwasher expecting to be impressed. It turns out the opposite is true, I can't stand this machine and I've gone back to washing my dishes by hand until I can afford to get this thing replaced. It washes fine, but it won't dry at all. I found out the hard way "condensation drying" is a fancy term for doesn't dry at all. No matter what setting you choose, the dishes are soaking wet - always! Some cycle choices run for over 3 hours to try to get it to dry the dishes and they are still soaking wet! I called the company to ask them to buy the machine back and they refused. Now I'm stuck with this very expensive machine that I deeply regret buying. I wish they had been truthful in their marketing that it washes but doesn't dry and I would have kept looking instead of wasting my money on a Bosch.
