Product Description
BioAdvanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease, and Mite Control provides triple protection. The 3-in-1 formula kills and controls listed insects and pests, cures and prevents listed fungal diseases, and controls spider mites in just one product. The insect killer fights to kill and control aphids, spider mites, Japanese beetles, caterpillars, and more. Fungicide fights to control black spot, powdery mildew, anthracnose, rust, and more. The systemic rainproof protection lasts up to 30 days. The product is absorbed by the root system and taken up internally, so it cannot be washed away by rain or water. It can be applied to a variety of plants including roses, flowers, houseplants, trees, shrubs, ornamentals, and more. The concentrate is easy to use with a pump style tank sprayer. The BioAdvanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease, and Mite Control measures 32-ounces and makes up to 12 gallons of spray. Active Ingredients: 0.47% Imidacloprid; 0.61% Tau-fluvalinate; 0.65% Tebuconazole. EPA Registration Number: 92564-31.

these bad guys seemed to be hiding in the roots and coming out onto the leaves again and again. I bought a systemic insecticide. However, I was afraid to water my collection citrus and coffee trees with the full amount (as the instructions advised). The systemic insecticide appears to have weakened the mealybug population. This drug helped destroy the remaining ones. however, I also diluted it with 3 parts solution and 1 part water. I always try diluted first. Plants are very dear to me in every way. One thing, a respirator is required. Perhaps this kills parasites inside a person (just kidding) I didn't do any experiments.
Hibiscus
This is my first time using systemic product. I sprayed this on 4 mature hardy hibiscus ( 2 years old and 3ft tall) to address Japanese Beetles.. They appear to be gone but they were already into when they disappear so I cannot confirm it was the spray. (5 stars if I could confirm it took care of the beetles)
Annuals
I sprayed it on two small posts of red salvia and white begonias as a preventative against leaf miner which I eradicated about a month prior. No sign of sock.
Roses
I sprayed on two mini roses (7 months old planted from root ball) as a preventative.
Hydrangeas
I can say that in one day the spray, even after a heavy rain, significantly reduced rust on my young phantom hydrangea (2 years flowering) and two vanilla strawberry hydrangea trees (3 months no flowers). Rose Rx works well but never this quickly and dramatically.
The rust was the result of almost 3 weeks of rain to include 14 inches in one week. After I sprayed, we had heavy rain that night and the next morning. I checked and the rust had lightened significantly. My phantom and trees was covered in rust and now it was almost gone. I could not believe it.
I sprayed this on my other hydrangeas, planted just a month ago and all with blooms (4 gallon pot size--Quickfire, Limelight, Inrediball, and 5 gallon Vanilla Strawberry shrub form). I focused on the leaves but I am sure some got on the blooms. I think it's safe for blooms but the package suggests not spraying because of bees and other pollinators. I did make sure there were no pollinators when I sprayed. All the hydrangeas seem to be responding well; no sign of shock from the spray. No problems with the blooms.
Negatives
There is a strong odor and there has to be no wind. The leaves feel a little stiffer on all the hydrangea. However, the types I listed have leaves naturally thicker and coarser feel. I think the spray added a little more texture. Even after rain, the texture was still there so that at least tells me it adhered as the product describes. The other negative is if you bring blooms and leaves in the house, I would be careful that there isn't a chance of the cuts coming into contact with food. This is a toxic, non organic spray.
BUT
It arrived with no instructions, so I do not know how often I need to spray them, or where to spray
(roots &/or leaves), also will it damage the blooms if some spray gets blown onto them
(I grow them outdoors)
You have to screw it onto a hose, but to my shock I when I turned on the water tap,
it immediately sprayed me because the switch was open but there is no indication on the sprayer
to know of it is on spray or off.
Luckily I where eyeglass, if it had hit my eyes I could have been injured.
This is careless packaging, it has become a common problem to not including instructions,
but in this case it is dangerous.
