Typical Usage: 1-2 oz. per gallon for beer, wine, and moonshineGlycerin is also known to winemakers as finishing formula. It sweetens, adds body, smooths and mellows wine and liqueurs. For wine, add 1-2 ounces per gallon. For liqueurs, add 1-2 ounces per quart. DIRECTIONS: The wine should be clear, and racked off any sediment, and ready to bottle before adding Glycerine. Add the Glycerine directly to the wine. Stir thoroughly to evenly disperse Glycerine. Vegetable Glycerine is also used to help retain moisture in foods, keep items soft, and help to prevent sugar crystallization in foods like candy. Use vegetable glycerine in royal icing to add shine, and prevent hardening.
