The song "Remember Ol' Scollay Square" is about the most famous Square in the world. The beginning of Vaudeville, the home of Daniel Webster, Paul Revere, Alexander Graham Bell who invented the telephone. Burlesque in America began in Scollay Square. The Square was infamous in World War II, soldiers and sailors from all over the world came to Scollay Square. This song is historic, legendary and much fun. Rik Tinory, a native of Boston's South End, the composer had a Bronze Plaque erected in the square in his honor. The square was re-named and is now called Government Center.
